Schools in our network use an invigorating variety of approaches and pedagogies. At City Neighbors in Baltimore, the 17 families that got together to found the school chose a Reggio Emilia approach. Even though that has been primarily used for early education, at City Neighbors it has been applied through the 12^th grade. There are now three City Neighbors schools; the cluster includes two elementary and one high school. The schools intend for each individual student is to be ”known, loved, and inspired.” Even in a tough neighborhood, this intention has yielded amazing results.
