Educate the Whole Child actively encourages all forms of creativity and the arts. They bring fire and enthusiasm to learning, especially when integrated into the mainstream curriculum. To encourage the arts in schools within our network, each year we offer Art Awards. From the many creative submissions last year, we are pleased to announce the winners.

Winners of the last round of Art Awards were:

Pre-K through 2nd grade: Brynna Mabry, Putney Central School, Putney, Vermont
3rd through 5th grade: Lena Quintal, Putney Central School, Putney, Vermont
6th through 8th grade: Alison D’Agistino, Zaharis Elementary, Mesa, Arizona
High School: Elbe Hubbard, The Compass School, Westminster, Vermont
The winning student artist at each level was recognized with a certificate, and the
winning school in each category received $500. We look forward to the next round of
winners for the present school year.
