I am an educator who cares as deeply about the soul of children as their intellectual attainments. Schools must nurture peace, love and compassion in children and all members of the school community. I taught Middle, High School and at several Universities mainly in NH, VT and MA. All of my experiences were shaped and guided by the teaching and mentorships with Ted Sizer, Debbie Meier and Dennis Littky. My personal path in life is guided each day by practicing the peaceful, loving and compassionate path of Buddhism. One requisite is we all respect the ideas of others unless they are in some form disrespectful and or unkind. Peace, Tom
